When I opened Miki’s, I cooked 100% vegetarian food. Then I found out vegetarianism was not so well accepted even in Tokyo. I eventually changed the menu, and my own diet!!!!
During the pandemic, my favorite neighbor started a tradition for me; Vegetarian Wednesday’s.
Now I cook vegetarian food every week, which menus are varied from Japanese, Thai, Mediterranean, Indian, and from countries I have never visited.
I’m amazed how much we can enjoy food with only vegetables.
The tradition has kept going, and the family blogged the food I cooke every week!
