I'm looking for local farmers who would be willing to collaborate!
I use lots of vegetables especially for Veg Wednesdays.
Today we went to meet a local farm; Base Side Farm. They accept volunteers so we helped picking up weeds, setting up a new field for pumpkins and Daikon, and harvesting Negi.
What I liked about the experience was that I could actually see how the veggies are made and taken care of. It's easy to buy veggies but to cultivate them requires long experiences and knowledge as well as so much effort and improvement.
I was lucky to take part even just a little bit!
今後の更なるベジタリアンレシピの拡大のため、農家さんと新たに取引をしたいです。その為、今日は初めて援農というものを体験。
Base Side Farmさんが親切に教えてくれながら、お手伝いをさせてくれました。
野菜作りというのは、とても大変そうです。興味深くも、頭が下がる思いでした。
